The weather has been so unpredictable lately (warm and sunny one recess, cold and wet the next). Please have your child dress in layers and come prepared with splash pants, rain boots and extra clothing.
Staff and students celebrated Earth Day by pausing from their normal routine and making an extra effort to turn off a light, pack a litter-less lunch and spend a little extra time cleaning up.
On March 13th, the students and staff enjoyed an informative and interactive presentation by Zoo To You. The students learned the difference between alligators and crocodiles and even got to hold a Burmese Python!
Our Student Leadership Team held a very successful winter food drive for our local food bank. They have begun preparing for a spring fun day to be held later this month.
Kindergarten registration for the 2015-2016 school year has started. If your child will be 4 or 5 years old by December 31st, 2015 please come to the school to register for kindergarten now.
Our grade three students have now completed two out of the three classes offered through the LifeSaving Society’s Swim to Survive program. The last class will be held in April.
First term report cards go home on February 20th. Please take time to review the report card with your son or daughter and contact the teacher if you have any questions or concerns.
